Quotes + Photography = :)

Hope everyone is having a great week! I will update more soon, I've been busy :) With good and bad news.

These are my favorite quotes incorporated into my photography, except of course that picture that is of me. My brother took that. :)

Photo of the day

Kinda been in a funk :/
I don't know what is it. Probably because I'm still sick...
Anyways! I'm going to my brother's apartment in the city tonight.
Hopefully I get some awesome shots :) That I can share with you.
Picture of the day is....

I do not know what it is about this photo, but I really like it. It was taken with my phone a few days ago and I just realized how much I liked it last night.

Hope everyone is having an AWESOME FRIDAY!

Maryland isn't too shabby!

Hello beautifuls!

I'm sick. Yuck! I'm not to sure what to write about today or what type of picture I'd like the use. Okay, I'll post the pictures I took from the first time I went to Baltimore city. This day meant a lot to me for many reasons. It was the second day I had moved away from Cali, away from an abusive relationship. It was the first day I met my step brother (I always wanted a big brother) and it's the first moment I realized that MARYLAND ROCKS! They aren't that great, but they mean a lot to me. These were all taken with a phone, no flash, and through a car window while its raining. Lol.

About the photographer

I realized I had a true passion for photography when I took a hike, came home, and couldn't wait to upload the pictures onto my computer. When I did, I was amazed. I looked at them and thought "Wow... I took that?" From then on, I was hooked. I wanted that exact feeling every day of my life.

I realized I was better than the average photographer when I went to a class that JT Photography was offering, and they told me how awesome I was, and offered me an internship. Most of my inspiration and drive comes from that very moment. I wanted to be just like Tonya.

Soon after, I moved to California with my at the time boyfriend. I lost myself for three years which is quite embarrassing to say the least. I was not happy. I moved to Maryland to be with my family and again I was smothered with the love and inspiration I was deprived of for three years. I also met this awesome guy who supports me completely. He'll be the stud you see in some of my pictures :)

As of now, I am starting up my own business, which is very hard at age 20. I want to thank everyone who has helped me and supported me. It means a lot to me! If you know anyone in the Baltimore/DC/Annapolis areas who need me, refer them to me! I will have pictures up soon of photos I have taken in a professional setting. I'm trying to find a day job so I can put away money for my business of course, a new car (left mine in California) and possibly college within a year.

Welcome to my office lol!

This blog is and always will be dedicated to JT Photography.

Here is the picture that made me realize that I loved photography so much

Thank you and I hope everyone is having an awesome day!

Couldn't help myself!

Photography isn't about how talented your CAMERA is, it's about how talented YOU are.
Okay, so I couldn't help myself! Here's almost ALL of my phone/iPod photography. Which I don't care if the camera is 5,000 or 5 dollars. A good photo is a good photo. And I think these are pretty awesome :) Take a look. There's a lot so bare with me and leave comments! (75 pics total!) They were taken with an Ipod Touch 4th Gen, Sprint Nexus, and a Sprint LG Optimus. Thank you & enjoy!

Tomorrow I will be doing a "meet the photographer" post so you can learn more about me.

:) thank you
